Meet the Team
John Schuster
Founder & Strategist
John has a decade of experience driving growth for local and national brands through Meta Advertising, Google Ads, and SEO. Certified in Google Analytics and Content Strategy, he also serves as Vice President of the Seattle Search Network.
He previously owned an ecommerce brand specializing in rare board games, earning recognition as both an eBay Power Seller and an Amazon Top Rated Seller. That experience gave him a unique, firsthand perspective on the challenges and opportunities of selling online.
Outside of work, John enjoys working out with F3, playing strategy board games, and studying business.

Luke Perry
Marketing Manager
Luke is passionate about helping small businesses thrive by understanding their operations and tailoring marketing solutions to their needs. He has been working with John and his teams for the last 4 years, with this last year as the Marketing Manager. He primarily helps run advertising campaigns, manage client relationships and help with project management but has been seen helping in all areas of the Strategy Ecommerce.
Outside of work, Luke is dedicated to personal growth and wellness. He enjoys reading, listening to podcasts by thought leaders like Peter Attia and Andrew Huberman, and staying active through running and fitness.

Melanie Kuo
Marketing Coordinator
After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Informatics concentrating in human-computer interaction, Melanie joined the team as the agency’s marketing coordinator. Specializing in marketing and UX design, she helps boost traffic for clients by creating SEO-optimized content and builds out user-friendly website experiences.
Prior to joining Strategy Ecommerce, Melanie worked as a design and marketing intern at several organizations throughout the Seattle area, including the University of Washington and the Northwest Film Forum. Drawing from her experiences, she has become passionate about helping small businesses grow through curating unique digital experiences and creative marketing strategies. When she’s not designing websites and writing blog articles, you can catch her at a local coffee shop, at a concert, or watching a competitive reality TV show.

Colby Behrndt
Software Developer
Colby is a software developer in the Seattle area. In the past, he has focused on building interactive web applications centered around user interface and user experience design. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Washington University, complementing his studies with a minor in UX Design, giving him a foundation in both software development and design.
At Strategy Ecommerce, Colby is involved in both providing technical support for clients and helping the team to develop sites that meet clients’ vision and deliver exceptional user experiences. When not working in development, Colby has a passion for cinematography and develops films on the side.
